Trish Keilty

Founder & Managing Director

Trish has always had a passion for helping the most disadvantaged members of the community to develop their full potential.

She founded Avocare in 2003 as a way to develop and deliver programs and life changing assistance to disenfranchised members of the community who experience social isolation, a lack of confidence and self esteem and other significant barriers to their employment and everyday goals.

Through Avocare Trish has a strong focus on encouraging community connectedness with Employability Skills, Food Relief and Material Aid.

Deb Hutton - Woodward

Operations Manager

Deb brings 21 years of expertise in Training and Employment services including Site Management, Training Management [both Accredited and Pre-accredited]; Training [both Accredited and Pre-accredited]; Curriculum Writing, Program, Course & Workshop Writing; Compliance & Contract Management; Work for the Dole & Business Management and Operational Management.

Prior to working in the Employment Services Sector, Deb was in the Retail Management space for 11 years.

Starting her journey with Avocare in 2006, Deb shows her 11th year of commitment to the organisation.

Rachel Greetham

Marketing & Communications

Rachel brings over 20 years of extensive experience in all areas of Business Administration; Office Management and Executive Support; Business Operational Management; Human Resources; Event and Project Management and Marketing and Networking exposure.

During her career Rachel lived overseas for a 5 year period and has experience across an array of environments ranging from corporate, local government, education and healthcare, this includes Monash University, Ealing Council / Government and Club Assist (RACV afflitated)

Rachels passion lies within “Helping those in need”.

Heidi Britz

Warehouse Manager & WEX Supervisor

Heidi has 23 years experience in administration and customer service primarily within the healthcare and medical industry. This included pathology, radiology, private and public practices, where she held position of Personal Assistant and Ward Secretary at Monash Health.

In 2012 Heidi commenced as a Work for the Dole Participant at Avocare and was further employed to become the Avocare Warehouse Supervisor in 2013 and in December 2016 was appointed Warehouse Manager.

Heidi is a true example of Avocare placing participants in sustainable employment through our Work for the Dole activities.

Dee McHugh

Accounts Department

Dee has a successful background in the world of Fashion and Retail in her home country of Ireland, with exposure to many known Fashion Brands such as; Morgan, Kookai and Inwear.

Dee moved to Australia in 2003 and to coincide with her love for fashion she managed a Jewellery Importing business prior to joining the team at Avocare.

In 2006 Dee commenced work with Avocare as a team member of the Accounts Department, today she manages the accounts department for both Avocare and Jobinc.

Showing her commitment to the organisation Dee is now in her second decade at Avocare and still loves it!

Emma Barnard

Emma has built a career assisting disadvantaged members of the community, primarily through addressing the barriers faced by the long term unemployed. Completing Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Science, Emma’s first professional role was in the federal government’s new employment services program, an opportunity afforded her by Trish Keilty.

Over these two decades Emma has been involved in many community and charity projects, volunteering her time through training, networking and fundraising.

In 2012 Emma started her own business – Words by Emma – blending her love of language with her experience as a case manager and her employment knowledge.

Emma joined the board of Directors for Avocare in December 2016.

Michael Eagles

Michael Eagles has had more than 28 years’ experience in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations, in both Australia and overseas. Michael’s experience emanated from the shop floor environments of some of Australia’s toughest industries and took him to corporate head offices. His knowledge and expertise is unique and extensive having worked across many varied industries during his years with the Australian Workers Union. With strengths in planning for bargaining, performance management, outcome driven negotiations and a strong focus on cultural change.

Michael is the A.P.I. People Engagement Manager for Operations in the Southern States based in Dandenong he has held this role since 2014. A large part of his role is to support the sites to gain outcomes in areas such as wellbeing, safety and productively. Michael also oversees the recruitment of staff in each area.

Michael joined the board of Directors for Avocare in December 2016.
